Giving Back

At Village Optical, we feel it is important to give back to our local and international communities.
Recent charitable ventures include:
Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) has designated May as Eye Health Month. Our optometrists have committed to donating $1.00 per eye examination during the month of May 2011.
Our optometrists have increased their support to the CNIB, donating $2 per eye exam throughout the month of May 2012.

Optometry Giving Sight is our international charity of choice. Each October we participate in World Sight Day. Our optometrists have committed to donating eye examination fees on World Sight Day for the past four years.
Optometry Giving Sight funds programs that offer not only eye exams and glasses in countries with little or no access to them, but also establish the infrastructure and human resources required for sustainable, quality vision care.
